Join Our E-Mailing List
SD FACT sends out email notifications with information on the current projects and opportunities for you to contact your legislators. To join our email list, sign up here. If you are a South Dakota resident, please include your legal address (address where you are registered to vote, or if not registered, your home address). We need this information in order to identify who your elected officials are. *If you know all nine digits of your ZIP code, please provide them it will help us in determining your legislative district for our records.

Host a Party for the Animals
As we launch SD FACT, one of the most impactful things you can do for us is open up your living room. Your friends and family care about you and the organizations you care about, and when you invite us to give a brief presentation about our human responsibility to the animals in our state, they see just how much SD FACT means to you. House parties provide us with an opportunity to gain new supporters and do critical fundraising. If you’d like to reserve a date to host a party, please contact us.

Host a SD FACT Fundraiser
We can help you host a fundraiser or you can do it entirely on your own. From a lemonade stand to an auction and everything in between, SD FACT grows strong because of the generosity and creativity of its supporters. If you can dream up a way to raise support and funds for this important work, we’ll help you every step of the way.

Share our Facebook page and Twitter Feed with your Friends
When you read something that inspires you on our website or our Facebook page, or Twitter, don’t forget to share it with your friends. When a supporter shares our content on social media sites, our message grows exponentially. It’s a quick and easy way to demonstrate your devotion to animal protection in South Dakota.

Volunteer
SD FACT is an all-volunteer organization and so volunteers are the life blood of our organization.  There are so many ways you can help.  Volunteer duties include: talking with registered voters about animal welfare issues, organizing petition-teams, lobbying at the State Capitol, organizing fundraising events, outreach at festivals and fairs, handing out information fliers, or become a Community Coordinator helping us organize door knocking, phone banking and education.  Click here to complete a volunteer application!
